Hello, World!

Ronán Brennan likes to write and although is not comfortable talking about himself in the third person, has been told it can be quite effective for professional-esque things like this. The irony that he likes to write is not lost on him as at the best of times he has exceptionally questionable grammar and as for his handwriting … well … he’s lucky the typewriter was invented.

After graduating from DLIADT in 2007 with a B.A. in Business Entrepreneurship, Ronán was accepted into Independent College of Independent News Media Ireland's maiden Masters in Journalism programme. In 2009 he interned for the Sunday World and while on staff specialised in interviews and bringing his famed wit to human pieces and political analysis and was proud to challenge the Irish Government on the increasing homeless population within the country at the time.

In 2012 Ronán entered the corporate world, though still pursues storytelling and freelance writing, and has risen through the ranks with hardly any backstabbing (if you haven't caught his sense of humour by now let's just call it a day). He earns his bread as a Learning Consultant and Content Creator, crafting a company's message for the public sphere while educating a workforce and customers alike.

In addition to providing a wordsmith's punch for Fortune 500 organisations, you can catch Ronán's freelance work across various company websites, and his writings within publications such as Inside Publications, State.ie and Entertainment.ie, among other places such as the likes of napkins quickly scribbled on with sudden inspiration only to be left behind in numerous coffee houses around the world.

Here you will find some samples of Ronán’s professional work … but mainly here is for what he enjoys most … little works of fiction and taking occasional pictures. And he very much hopes you enjoy them too!
